Leopard Profiles:   Othawa Male

The Othawa male, named after the private lodge in his territory, is the main rival to Wallys.  Born in 1995 he is only a year or so younger than Wallys.  It is likely that the Othawa male killed one of Shangwa's cubs in 2004 - after coming across the cubs just after a territorial fight with Wallys.

He is the most likely father of Shangwa's cubs.

His territory extends to the east and, like Shangwa, is often outside the western sector's traversing area.
